Importance of the facilitator course

TrainYouCan Accredited Training Network in South Africa who also offer the Train the Trainer Course also known as Facilitator course is aimed to accredit you as the Trainer or Facilitator to be SETA certified that is also nationally and internationally recognised by most countries.

Why is Facilitation Important? Facilitation is important because meetings of large groups of people can be very hard to organize as well as to control when they are in progress. First of all, a facilitator can help members of a group get to know each other and learn to cooperate.

Good facilitation helps a group achieve your purpose by hearing each other, coming to understandings, pooling your wisdom and making wise decisions. The facilitator focuses on both purpose and process. The purpose is what the group has agreed to discuss or make a decision around.

Facilitators often teach courses that require reflection and application of information to a job, such as communications, leadership, problem-solving, and more.

Facilitation skills are the abilities you use to provide opportunities and resources to a group of people that enable them to make progress and succeed. Some examples include being prepared, setting guidelines, being flexible, active listening and managing time.

The facilitator’s job is to support everyone to do their best thinking. They create an environment where everyone is encouraged to participate, understand one another’s point of view and share responsibility.

But conflict needs managing effectively so that it remains part of a creative rather than destructive process. This is where effective facilitation is extremely helpful to keep the team on track, keep relationships intact, and successful outcomes achieved for the business.

Importance of Website

Having a website and online presence strategy allows you to market your business online. A website is also important because it helps to establish credibility as a business. Websites usually provide a map and directions to the company’s shops or offices for visitors to find their location easily.  Another important thing is that you have the scope to represent your customers, why they should trust you and the testimonials and facts to back up those opportunities by building a website. Nowadays, people are busy and also smart. They have no time to visit the shop. They search the internet to know about the product or service before purchasing. They can know about the brand, features, price, size, color through your website.

Low-Cost Advertising

The Web has a far wider reach than any other form of advertising. While it takes time to build up enough traffic to your website to make a worthwhile impact on your company’s marketing campaign, it costs next to nothing to do so. Your website will be the center of your company’s online presence; through it, you advertise your business around the Web on social networking sites, forums and through pay-per-click advertising programs.

Visibility

Increasing visibility is one major factor that makes having a website important. Even if people have heard about your company, they may want to carry out research online first, before leaving the house. Provide a map and directions to your company’s shops or offices on your website so that visitors are less likely to have trouble finding the place.

Accessibility

A website is online and accessible 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Because of this, your customers and potential customers can visit your site for support or information about new and upcoming products and services whenever it is convenient for them. Your website will act as an invaluable and always-available resource for information which would otherwise only be accessible during your company’s business hours.

Sales

Your website can sell products at any time. Potential customers are not restricted to business hours. Instead, they can go online and purchase products whenever they want. A website with an online shop can provide a dramatic boost in sales.

Importance of Website

Last week I was thinking about the importance of a website and how many businesses don’t one. Depending on what report you look at anywhere from 44% to 51% of small businesses do not have a website. When I saw this statistic for the first time I could not believe it. As I called a list of local dental offices I quickly found out that most of them don’t have a website.

Now I understand these statistics may actually be true. I was shocked. It made me think I should write an article on why having a website is important for your business if you want to get new customers, or even just keep your existing ones. This article summarizes all of the reasons that came to me as I wrote. I am sure there are more reasons why having a website is necessary for business, but these are the main ones that stick out to us. You can also listen to our podcast “What Is the Importance of a Website?” to learn more.

In my opinion, everyone should have a website because they are so inexpensive and yet so effective. Hopefully, my article will help you see the importance of a website for your business. Profitworks provides marketing services specializing in search engine optimization and website conversion optimization services. They say the world is now in our hands and the information is at our fingertips. There are no second thoughts to that. The world of the internet is fantastic. It continues to transform the way we connect with people, share information, and live a quality life.

A lot of people spend most of their time on the internet. This could be for buying a product, using a service, reading a blog, entertaining themselves, or for various other reasons.

Considering the amount of time people spend on the internet, businesses too have moved online. Having a website for business owners of any size and a presence on social media has become crucial. If you are into a business and do not own a website, you might be losing a lot of potential customers online. Knowing the importance of a website is key to grow your business many folds.

Below are 10 reasons why websites are important in today’s world.

Your website need not be grand with the best design and technical backing. Neither do you need the best content writer in town to write your blogs every second day, but you must be aware of how crucial it is to have a presence online. Having a website should be the first step you take to invest in your online identity which will help turn your website into the marketing tool that can be. As the first place people look is online. What we see is ultimately what shapes our perception of the brand or company as a whole.

The Internet has allowed businesses to break through the geographical barriers and become accessible, virtually, from any country in the world. Any potential customer with Internet access can access your website and if he/she likes what they see, you’ve got a high chance of a sale. Your no longer fishing in a pond but in the ocean.

Your website can add value in other ways too, by featuring tips, advice, blog column, FAQ and general interest content that can entertain your customers. This also will help them remember you better. It’s been said that a customer is someone who buys from you once or twice, but a client is someone who buys from you regularly. The presence of a website invites both.

A website is more environmental friendly when it comes to advertising and marketing. There are lots of ways to advertise your products or services through the internet. One example is Facebook ads, an advertising feature offered through Facebook. Having a good SEO Agency that places focus on SEO can boost the ranking of your website which quickly results in increased sales and higher profits.

If you have a good website with good relevant content related to information, products or services, people are more likely to link your website to their social media profiles. This means they recognize your website as valuable and are putting the word out that you have served them with something of value. If you have many profiles or other sites linking to you, it is like spreading the word about your company all around the world.

A website serves as a great place to refer potential investors to, to show them what your company is about, what it has achieved and what it can achieve in future. It’s like a resume of some sorts that can help you get potential business.

Over time, the requirements of your market may vary as times change and it’s wise that we keep up. This means you have to be able to adapt to these changes too. Most modern website platforms allow you to add all types of additional functionality through upgrades, widgets, plugins and add-ons. It’s also possible to add new functionalities to a website by hiring a web expert or a digital marketing company who can add customizations to your website.

Today’s website can be used as a central part of any powerful marketing system. You can integrate your website with social media pages, lead generation systems, cloud-based systems and much more. This ability to integrate with these other systems has the potential to generate huge numbers of business leads and greatly increase your online sales.

In recent years, many business owners and business decision-makers have not used their websites to their full potential. However, there are still many valid reasons for why a website is still a business’s most important digital marketing tool.

Importance of having social media advertising

Social media has become the most influential and important virtual space where the platform is not only used for social networking but is also a great way of digitally advertising your brand and your products.

Social media’s power is commendable as you get to reach a large number of people within seconds of posting an ad, helping you reduce your costs, and making your ads reach out to your potential audience through these social media advertisements.

With the huge number of online users, which is almost 59% of the world’s population, marketers must not miss out on their chance of marketing on these digital forums where they can reach all the maximum number of potential buyers compared with print or television media marketing.

Clearly, there is a disconnect between those who are seeing the benefits of social media and those struggling to get started.

If the latter sounds like you, keep reading. You’re about to learn how social media marketing can help build your business. Some of the benefits you’ll learn about include:

  • Growing your brand awareness: Social media marketing will make it easy to spread the word about your products and mission.
  • Increasing your traffic: Using social media and linking it to your website will increase your traffic tremendously.
  • Promoting your products and services: This is ultimately why you invest in marketing, right?

Social media is becoming one of the most important aspects of digital marketing which provides incredible benefits by reaching millions of customers worldwide. They help you to connect with the customers, increase your brand awareness, and boost your leads and sales.

The merits of social media advertising include the following:

1. Improved Brand Recognition

Advertising through social media has been shown to increase brand recognition. Regular posting on social media platforms allows companies to interact with the clientele on familiar grounds. This constant interaction creates a picture of credibility and an eagerness to listen to what the clients have to say. Once customers are familiar with your brand, they are more likely to recommend your brand to friends and family, therefore increasing your brand reach. The brand should not constantly hammer the presence, whereas it should be subtle enough to make an impact. Sticking to a particular theme of colours and fonts will help big time.

2. Improved Brand Loyalty

For any company to stay afloat, it needs a loyal clientele base. New customers are a happy addition, but without loyalists, the conversion rates would be somewhere between sad and non-existent. Advertising on social media creates an open service platform where customers can express their views and feelings about services and products offered. By listening to consumer opinions, customer satisfaction levels rise exponentially, and along with the loyalty to your brand is increased. The consumers will be more impressed with your turn around time and appreciate the company more.

3. Improved Conversion Rates

The majority of the population is on social media. Social media and advertising are two components used together to target potential clients on social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram. With the increased brand visibility that comes with advertising in social media, more leads will visit your website, and the chance of conversion also increases. With a well-articulated media advertising plan, a company can improve its sales and profits.

4. Reduced Marketing Costs

Compared to conventional marketing, social media marketing does not require a lot of monetary resources. With an internet connection and computers, a company can minimize its marketing costs by a significant margin.  But as the business landscape continues to evolve, traditional marketing methods begin to fade out in favour of less resource-intensive methods. Therefore, using social media to market products and services is an efficient way of reducing companies’ operational costs. Social Media platforms do most of the work in terms of an investment. The business needs a consistent theme, tonality and an effective marketing strategy to make use of the platforms. The costs are greatly reduced as more number of people can be reached with the same amount of monthly budget.

5. Better Search Engine Ranking

While a social media page does not exactly improve search rankings, the page will certainly get you more traffic. More people use Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing or other search engines to find products or services online. If your business has a social media listing, chances are, it will appear among the top search results of a related product or service, leading to wider visibility. Search engine optimization tools are another attractive option due to their ability to drive more traffic to company websites and achieving higher search rankings on the same.

Social media advertising has grown to be a favourite marketing option for many business start-ups and organizations globally. This is due to the ease of using social networking sites to sell products and services. The results are almost always immediate, which allows companies to gauge the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns. Social media marketing has become an integral part of any marketing program regardless of size or nature. It is a great opportunity to increase sales while minimizing costs; one that no company or organization should pass on.

Why it’s Important for B2B Companies to be on Social Media

Even though B2B companies seek to sell products to other businesses, B2B marketing is still built on human relationships. Social media has long been used to help grow these relationships, but its importance accelerated last year.

Without in-person events, B2B marketers needed an outlet to connect with prospects and partners. And they found they could do this most effectively via social platforms.

By using social media, B2B leaders:

  • Build brand awareness and trust: Across different platforms, companies can tell their story, why they provide the services they offer, and keep audiences updated with customer and employee stories.
  • Generate leads and build community: Create meaningful conversations and engagement within their target industry by posting videos, news, data, and interesting trends.
  • Implement social listening: Listen to customers and what people are saying about their company.
  • Connect social posts to opportunities: With the right enterprise solution, leaders can drive customer posts to their CRM to understand customers more fully.
  • Measure marketing efforts: Social media platforms and management tools enable you to track key performance metrics (KPIs).

If you want to connect and engage with your future customers, you have to be where they are. And that’s largely on social media.

The Importance of Training & Development in the Workplace

The Importance of Training & Development in the Workplace

Training presents a prime opportunity to expand the knowledge base of all employees, but many employers find the development opportunities expensive. Employees also miss out on work time while attending training sessions, which may delay the completion of projects. Despite the potential drawbacks, training and development provides both the company as a whole and the individual employees with benefits that make the cost and time a worthwhile investment.

What is employee development?

Employee training and development are terms often used interchangeably, across sectors, and encompass various employee learning practices. More specifically, employee training involves programs that enable employees to learn precise skills or gain knowledge to improve job performance. Employee development is a process whereby the manager and employee work together to create a development plan. This plan identifies areas to develop or enhance, and ascertains what actions or activities need to be taken to acquire and embed that learning. This development plan is aligned with the organization’s goals and ultimately serves as a template showing skills that the employee requires and how they can go about acquiring them. Now, more than ever, owing to the impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic, learning and development (L&D) in business is taking top priority in the workplace.

One of the biggest challenges faced by business leaders driving the adoption of disruptive technology, is insufficient internal skills when combining technology with technical proficiency. As industries innovate so new technologies emerge, which has a profound impact on education and development. The ability to merge new technology with creative learning methods will ensure that teams learn new skills or reskill dynamically, through a future-oriented approach.

Importance of Training

Training is crucial for organizational development and success. It is fruitful to both employers and employees of an organization. An employee will become more efficient and productive if he is trained well.

Training is given on four basic grounds:

  1. New candidates who join an organization are given training. This training familiarize them with the organizational mission, vision, rules and regulations and the working conditions.
  2. The existing employees are trained to refresh and enhance their knowledge.
  3. If any updations and amendments take place in technology, training is given to cope up with those changes. For instance, purchasing a new equipment, changes in technique of production, computer implantment. The employees are trained about use of new equipments and work methods.
  4. When promotion and career growth becomes important. Training is given so that employees are prepared to share the responsibilities of the higher level job.

The benefits of training can be summed up as:

  1. Improves morale of employees- Training helps the employee to get job security and job satisfaction. The more satisfied the employee is and the greater is his morale, the more he will contribute to organizational success and the lesser will be employee absenteeism and turnover.
  2. Less supervision- A well trained employee will be well acquainted with the job and will need less of supervision. Thus, there will be less wastage of time and efforts.
  3. Fewer accidents- Errors are likely to occur if the employees lack knowledge and skills required for doing a particular job. The more trained an employee is, the less are the chances of committing accidents in job and the more proficient the employee becomes.
  4. Chances of promotion- Employees acquire skills and efficiency during training. They become more eligible for promotion. They become an asset for the organization.
  5. Increased productivity- Training improves efficiency and productivity of employees. Well trained employees show both quantity and quality performance. There is less wastage of time, money and resources if employees are properly trained.

1. Improves employee performance

The prime motivator for employee training is to improve productivity and performance. And when executed well, it does just that. It provides your employees with the expertise they need to fulfil their role and make a positive impact on your business. The skills they learn empower them to deliver a better quality of work with a fast turnaround rate.

It also gives your hires a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities within your organization. They know their targets and they’re equipped with the tools to effectively meet them.

2. Increases engagement

Engaged employees have an increased level of productivity – it’s as simple as that! Through training, you’re continuously engaging your employees and enabling them to engage back. There is two-way communication, opinions and internal workings are shared, meaning your employees are always up to date with what’s going on. This makes them more emotionally invested. They care about their role and are more willing to commit their time and energy to the company.

3. Improves employee retention and growth

It’s common knowledge that the hiring and onboarding process can be a costly and time-consuming task. And a powerful by-product of increased performance and engagement through training is improved employee retention.

Training boosts a feeling of value in employees. It shows that you’re committed to providing them with the resources needed to ensure they’re doing a good job. In turn, they’re more likely to enjoy their work and remain in your organization for longer. It also nurtures them further in their career within your organization. One of the biggest benefits is that you’ll have more opportunities to hire from within, reducing recruiting and onboarding costs for your business.

4. Consistency in training

Creating consistency within an organization is difficult. But training helps reduce a disparity between your teams. Each employee has a baseline knowledge of their individual and their team’s goals, putting everyone on the same page. Additionally, employees all receiving the same training means they share responsibility and are aware of their role on the team.

5. Tracks employee skills

With eLearning, particularly with a learning management system (LMS), you can track the training your employees have taken. This has two big advantages.

Through insightful reports, you know if your employees are up to date with their training. Reports are a powerful tool if you’re delivering onboarding training or have to prove training has taken place, as is usually the case for compliance training. Tracking your training also helps you to provide better training for your employees. It enables you to identify what they are and aren’t engaging with. So, you can improve your course content based on these insights, ensuring that your employees get better training overall.

6. Address internal weaknesses

A lack of awareness of internal weakness is a hazardous thing within an organization. Training overcomes this as you can educate your employees on important subjects that help overcome and avoid any issues. Additionally, it creates a knowledge-sharing environment – your employees learn from managements’ and each others’ past mistakes and wins. This ensures that recurring mistakes are reduced and your employees know the strategies for success.

7. Happier customers

Perhaps the most impactful aspect of employee training is its beneficial effect on your business’s growth. Simply put, better-trained employees make more productive team members, that serve your customers better. The result of this is that your customer retention increases – happier customers stick around for longer and buy more. This can powerfully fuel your business’s growth.

Training of Employees – Need and Importance of Training

Importance of Training and Development for Employees

Employee training and development programs are essential to the success of businesses worldwide. Not only do these programs offer opportunities for staff to improve their skills, but also for employers to enhance employee productivity and improve company culture.

They also can reduce employee turnover — and a 2020 Work Institute study shows just how important that can be for a company’s bottom line. Voluntary employee turnover, according to the report, costs U.S. businesses more than $630 billion annually.

It’s no surprise that employees who get regular opportunities to learn, develop, and advance are more likely to stay with a company. Bob Nelson, author of 1,001 Ways to Engage Employees, reports that learning and development are among the top factors in employee engagement.

Addressing Employee Weaknesses

Most employees have some weaknesses in their workplace skills. A training program allows you to strengthen those skills that each employee needs to improve. A development program brings all employees to a higher level so they all have similar skills and knowledge. This helps reduce any weak links within the company who rely heavily on others to complete basic work tasks.

Providing the necessary training creates an overall knowledgeable staff with employees who can take over for one another as needed, work on teams or work independently without constant help and supervision from others.

The benefits of upskilling or reskilling your team

A changing world means that professional development will need to be constantly pursued and prioritized. Employers play an important role in supporting the acquisition of those skills. In fact, 54 percent of respondents from GetSmarter’s ‘The Future of Work Is Here’ report agree that upskilling or reskilling is the joint responsibility of the business and the employee.3

Here are four reasons why employee training and development is important:

1. Positive employee retention

The hiring and retention of talent can be an ongoing challenge for employers, however one way to retain your staff is by providing them with career development opportunities. Including development program offerings in employment contracts establishes an employee’s sense of value within the company, fostering loyalty and ultimately increasing staff retention. Investing in your staff’s professional development is not only vital for team retention, but learning and development professionals worldwide have reported that they’re observing a stronger appetite for upskilling than ever before.4

More than half the professionals surveyed by GetSmarter in 2020 say they’re either somewhat likely or very likely to change jobs in the next 12 months. Even more notable is that 51% claim they may change job functions or business areas entirely.5

2. Training future leaders

Acquiring leadership talent can start from the initial acquisition, or human resources professionals can select current employees as managerial candidates. Having established leadership development programs ensures that a business is always considering future organizational goals and succession planning by preparing promotable talent.

3. Employee empowerment

Recent research shows that leaders who inspire, ignite people’s imaginations, and mobilize them with a compelling vision are more impactful than managers who simply focus on the bottom line.6

4. Increased workplace engagement

Regular development initiatives can help keep employees motivated, while frequent training programs will also establish regular re-evaluation of employees, skills, and processes. Assessing the current skills and abilities within a team will enable managers to strategically plan targeted development programs that consider any potential skills gaps.

The Importance of Training

What is the importance of training in the workplace? Better training leads to better processes and Better Work. In today’s ever-changing marketplace, the importance of job training has never been greater. Workforce training is an indispensable way to keep your organization competitive. Employees are human, most will have weaknesses or gaps in their professional skills. Furthermore, most professional people are specialists of one kind or another. Much of what goes on in your organization is likely to fall outside of the training each individual worker already has.

Having a high quality and comprehensive employee training development program enables you to strengthen the skills your workforce does possess as well as to build up knowledge where it is lacking. An employee training development program will bring all of your staff up to a higher standard of competency so that your entire team can share a common set of knowledge and skills. Such a program will repair any weak links that may exist in your organization and cause the workload to be more evenly spread among your workers.

It might be difficult to overstate the importance of ppt in your current training program, and employee development articles in educating your workforce. The importance of training ppt documents stems from their ability to be easily shared, incorporated into larger educational packages, and their tendency to convey critical lessons clearly and succinctly.  But many firms make the mistake of simply mandating that their employees review such-and-such article, or attend so-and-so presentation rather than to incorporate these elements into a comprehensive training program. Unfortunately, organizations that make this mistake likely do not recognize the importance of employee training to an organization.

By providing ongoing workforce training, you will enable one employee to pick up where another left off, keeping them all on the same page without having to provide constant help and supervision. The importance of employee training to an organization should never be underestimated. And, ongoing training can be thought of as the best insurance policy against all sorts of the inevitable changes and the unforeseeable needs that will arise in your organization from time to time.

As a jack of all trades, a handyman will save you from hiring multiple contractors and you can get various jobs done all at once.

  1. Time efficient

Some odd jobs you may be able to take care of yourself – but do you really have the time to spend on them? Not only will you save your precious time by entrusting the job to a handyman, but a professional can do a better job.

If you can use handyman services whenever you like, it’s an incentive to get stuff done.

  1. Cost effective

Not only does a handyman save you the effort of calling around and hiring multiple contractors, but it will also end up costing you less. If a single worker can do most of the jobs, you won’t have separate bills to pay from plumbing companies, electricians, carpenters etc. with overheads to cover.

Importance of having social media advertising

Social media is becoming one of the most important aspects of digital marketing which provides incredible benefits by reaching millions of customers worldwide. They help you to connect with the customers, increase your brand awareness, and boost your leads and sales.

Social media has become the most influential and important virtual space where the platform is not only used for social networking but is also a great way of digitally advertising your brand and your products.

Social media’s power is commendable as you get to reach a large number of people within seconds of posting an ad, helping you reduce your costs, and making your ads reach out to your potential audience through these social media advertisements.

With the huge number of online users, which is almost 59% of the world’s population, marketers must not miss out on their chance of marketing on these digital forums where they can reach all the maximum number of potential buyers compared with print or television media marketing.

Reasons Why Social Media Marketing Is Important For Your Business Or Brand

It is important to use platforms that are commonly used by customers so that you can reach out to your target audience at a more effective rate.

Nothing can be better than these social media networks where most users spend a larger chunk of their time during the entire day and night.

Being a business on social media networks, you might want to make the most out of these consumers’ habits, which can help you create some major leads.

These social media channels help you attract the right customers with the right information at the right time and help you showcase your product or brand to potential customers at the right times.

This is how the mechanism of such social media websites works.

It gives you a chance to make the most out of your social media marketing strategies.

Here are 10 reasons why social media marketing is important for your business:

Reason 1: You Get To Tell Your Story

Having an online presence as a business on any of the social media forums like Facebook or Instagram is a great way to interact with your audience and to really connect with them on a personal level.

Which gives you the chance to tell your story to all your followers and inspire them through your success or past failures.

Social media is a place where interacting with your audience gives you more exposure and helps you better understand your audience.

Your customers will be able to know you and relate to your stories on a more personal level as well, and this is exactly what you need as an entrepreneur in this digitally connected world.

People who don’t know you or your business might find it intriguing to know how you build up your business and, thus, through these posts, you can create brand awareness about how hard you worked to make your dreams come true.

This will add more meaning to your brand, and customers love it more when they see the realities of businesses.

And to make sure that your story is heard and spreads at a faster rate, you might want to work on your content so that it is appropriate enough to impress the audience.

Improved brand awareness

Social media is one of the most stress-free and profitable digital marketing platforms that can be used to increase your business visibility. To get started, create social media profiles for your business and start networking with others. By applying a social media strategy, it will help you significantly increase your brand recognition. By spending only a few hours per week, over 91% marketers claimed that their social marketing efforts greatly increased their brand visibility and heightened user experience. Undoubtedly, having a social media page for your brand will benefit your business and with a regular use, it can also produce a wide audience for your business in no time.

Cost-effective

For an advertising strategy, social media marketing is possibly the most cost-effective way. Creating an account and signing up is free for almost all social networking platforms. But if you decide to use paid advertising on social media, always start small to see what you should expect. Being cost-effective is important as it helps you attain a greater return on investment and hold a bigger budget for other marketing and business payments. Just by investing a little money and time, you can significantly increase your conversion rates and ultimately get a return on investment on the money that you primarily invested.

Engage with your customers

Social media is a good way for engaging and interacting customers. The more you communicate with the audience, the more chances you have of conversion. Set up a two-way communication with your target audience so that their wishes are known and their interest is catered with ease. Moreover, communication and engagement with customers is one the ways to win their attention and convey them your brand message. Thus, your brand will reach more audience in real terms and gets itself established without any hassle.

Social media plays a vital role in networking and communication platform. With the help of these platforms, creating a voice for your company is important in improving the overall brand image. Customers appreciate the fact that when they post comments on your page, they receive a modified reply rather than a computerized message. Importance of Website

A website serves as a great place to refer potential investors to, to show them what your company is about, what it has achieved and what it can achieve in future. It’s like a resume of some sorts that can help you get potential business.
